(Oral) On 01.04.2019, following order was passed:- "Counsel seeks time to place on record the agreement entered into between the petitioner and the Punjab Mandi Board and in terms of which the work for construction of Laboratory Block at New Grain Market, Kotkapura, District Faridkot was awarded in favour of the petitioner. Needful be done within a period of four weeks.

CWP No. 8656 of 2019 -2The aforesaid order was not complied with on 10.05.2019, 30.07.2019 and 06.11.2019. Thereafter, on 23.01.2020, learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for one last opportunity to comply with order dated 01.04.2019 and address arguments. Thereafter, the case could not be taken up due to the situation arising out of pandemic COVID-19. Today, none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner despite two pass overs.

Perusal of the record would show that order dated 01.04.2019 has not been complied with till date. In view of aforesaid position and also in view of last opportunity prayed and granted on 23.01.2020, no further adjournment of the case is called for.

This case is dismissed for want of prosecution, however, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file fresh petition along with agreement entered into between the petitioner and the Punjab Mandi Board in terms of which the work for construction of Library Block at New Grain Market, Kotkapura was awarded to the petitioner.
