Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for seeking protection to the petitioners, who are major; having live-in-relationship and having apprehending threats at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has made a representation dated 31.7.2017 (Annexure P3) to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, but the same remained unattended till now. Reliance has also been placed upon a judgment rendered by the Allahabad High Court in Nandini v. State of U.P. 2013(8) RCR (Civil) 901. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and perusal of record, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, is directed to look into the representation dated 31.7.2017 (Annexure P3) and take required action, if any, as per law.
