ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.88 dated 25.05.2020 under Section 61 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914, registered at Police Station Mallanwala, District Ferozepur. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 16.06.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel does not controvert the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation. He submits that, per his instructions, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required. 4.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, the petition is allowed. Order dated 16.06.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
