The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus, directing official respondents, to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents No. 4 to 6. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already been arrested, therefore, nothing survives in the present petition and as such the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
