(ORAL) The petitioner through the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is seeking direction to official respondents to conduct fair, unbiased and independent investigation in FIR No. 223 dated 06.12.2021, under Section 304-B IPC, registered at Police Station, Phase-I, Mohali.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that FIR was registered on 06.12.2021, however, till date investigating agency has not filed challan though it is a serious case of death of a lady.

Mr. Shiva Khurmi, AAG, Punjab, who on advance notice is present in Court, on instructions from SI Narinder Kumar, submits that on account of non-receipt of opinion of doctor, challan could not be presented. The investigating officer has now received opinion of PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.05.02 16:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

In view of statement of learned State Counsel, no further order is warranted. This Court is sanguine of the fact that investigating officer would file report in one or another way within one month from today.
