ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus to appoint a warrant officer to locate the detenue Jyoti, daughter of the petitioner, from the alleged illegal custody of respondents No.5 to 8. 2.

Learned State counsel, under instructions, submits that upon preliminary enquiry it transpires that the petitioner has got married of her own volition and has gone away from her paternal house to her matrimonial house to start a new life. He further submits that in fact statement of the alleged detenue namely Jyoti was also recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Narnaul on 23.04.2021 wherein she has herself stated without any fear and coercion that she wants to live with her husband namely Suraj son of Karnail Singh and has gone with him on her own volition.
