State of Punjab and others .............Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.Mohinder Kumar,Advocate for the petitioners Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for seeking protection to life and liberty of both the petitioners, who are stated to be major in age and have married against the wishes of parents/relatives (respondents no.4 to 6) of petitioner no.1-wife. They apprehend threat to their life at the hands of said respondents. It is further stated that the couple is residing at H.No.HE-316, Phase 7,Mohali, PS Mataur,SAS Nagar whereas respondents 4 to 6 are residents of H.No.HE-150,Phase VII,PS Mataur,SAS Nagar,Mohali.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and keeping in view the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lata Singh v. State of U.P. And another, JT 2006(6) SC 173, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioners to present themselves before SSP, Mohali, who shall take appropriate RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.08.25 17:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.
