**** KIRTI SINGH , J. (Oral) This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for extension of parole on medical ground as the petitioner has been advised surgery on 18.03.2025. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was suffering from severe pain in his right knee and he consulted the doctors of M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Super Speciality Hospital, Mulana who examined the petitioner and advised surgery on 18.03.2025.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Ram Kumar, submits that the petitioner's surgery is scheduled for 20.03.2025 and has supplied a copy of the outpatient assessment record from M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Mullana, Ambala. The said copy is taken on record as Annexure R-1.

In view of above, the petition is allowed and the parole granted by respondent No.1 to the petitioner is extended for four weeks, subject to his furnishing necessary surety bonds to the satisfaction of the competent authority. He shall surrender before the concerned Jail authority after expiry of period of 04 weeks.
