Petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for quashing of FIR No. 41, dated 26.02.2021, under Sections 379-B IPC (Section 411 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Tibba, Ludhiana (Annexure P-1), and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise dated 12.03.2025 (Annexure P-2), effected between the parties. 2.

On the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw present petition.
