This petition has been filed seeking appropriate directions to the Family Court for concluding the pending case/application under Section 340 Cr.P.C. expeditiously.

It is not disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent/wife's petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. was dismissed by the Family Court on 26.9.2022, and the petitioner's application under Section 340 Cr.P.C. is pending for adjudication on 25.4.2023. Earlier also the petitioner had approached this Court seeking similar directions, and the case was disposed of vide order dated 24.5.2022 requesting the trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude both the proceedings pending under Sections 125 Cr.P.C. and 340 Cr.P. C. expeditiously.

Since appropriate directions to the Family Court were already issued by this Court on 24.5.2022, and the next date of hearing in the application under Section 340 Cr.P.C. is 25.4.2023, there is no ground to issue the directions sought.

Dismissed.
