R.P. NAGRATH, J. (ORAL) This petition under Section under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 for conducting fair investigation in FIR No. 119 dated 05.08.2014 registered under Sections 365/353/186/332 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Police Station Shimla Puri, District Ludhaina City. On instructions from HC Gurinder Singh, learned State counsel submits that on completion of investigation, challan has been presented before the trial Court on 21.11.2014 after filing of the instant petition. It is further submitted that charges have been framed by the trial Court and now the case is fixed for prosecution evidence. In view of the submissions made above, the instant petition has become infructuous and the same is disposed of as such.

There was also a prayer made by the petitioner for directing the official respondents to take steps for protecting his life and liberty. It is directed that on moving any fresh representation by the petitioner to respondent No. 2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, the same be looked into and if required, take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
