(ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for looking into complaint of the petitioner and FIR No.593 dated 09.06.2016 registered under Section 365 IPC at Police Station City Karnal, regarding kidnapping of wife of the petitioner. Learned State counsel, on instructions from Inspector Ravinder, Submits that instant petition has rendered infructuous in view of filing cancellation report dated 29.12.2016 in the aforesaid FIR and recovery of wife of the petitioner, who voluntarily gave statement to the police that she on her own free will and consent was living with respondent No.8.
