Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondent No. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 21.1.2015. Certificate (Annexure P-4) in this regard has been issued by Gurudwara Baba Jeewan Singh, Prabandhak Committee, Navi Abadi Faizpur, Amritsar. Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-3. He has further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation to Commissioner of Police, Amritsarrespondent No. 2 (Annexure P-5) but no action has been taken so far.
