Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 438, Cr.P.C., is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, Jaswant Singh, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 148, 186, 323, 341, 353 and 427 read with Section 149, IPC, in a case arising out of FIR No.148, dated 30.06.2014, registered at Police Station, Sadar, Jalalabad, District Fazilka.

Learned counsel contends that the main accused, Sandeep and Kakka, whose working still were damaged by the informant and his companions, were arrested and granted bail; the FIR was registered on 30.06.2014 and now the police is pressurizing to arrest the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and with his able assistance gone through the material available on record.

Criminal Misc.No.M-28583 of 2015 [2] The allegations against the petitioner are that Harjit Singh, Excise Inspector, along with his fellow officials raided the working still belonging to Sandeep and Kakka which were demolished and when they were returning then the petitioner along with fellow villagers attacked upon the party being headed by Harjit Singh. The injury was caused to Harjit Singh and his accompanying officials.

No ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out.

Dismissed.
