Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in FIR No.4 dated 02.01.2018 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Batala, the crossversion on the statement of son of petitioner was recorded vide DDR No.25 dated 13.01.2018. Now the respondents No.8 and 9 under the pressure of respondents No.5 to 7 are pressing the petitioner and her son to withdraw their cross case.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3 to look into the grouse of petitioner as put forth by learned counsel for the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law on receipt of copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioner from any legal action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against her in accordance with law.
