(Oral) The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 79 dated 02.06.2012 for offences under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code (IPC), registered at Police Station Raikot, District Ludhiana Rural. Learned State counsel submits that cancellation report has been prepared, which is pending decision by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagraon since 28.08.2014. In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagraon to pass appropriate orders on the report within one month.
