(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 03.07.2020 (Annexure P-6) and representations dated 12.01.2021 (Annexure P-7) and dated 22.02.2021 (Annexure P-8) filed by the petitioner. Further direction be issued to the respondents to consider the promotion of the petitioner w.e.f. 01.01.2013. After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail other legal remedies, in accordance with law.
