The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus so as to release the detenues, whose names are mentioned in para No.2 of the petition, who are alleged to be illegally detained in the premises of respondents No.4 and 5.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion, the following order was passed on 1.4.2024:- "The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus so as to release the detenues, whose names are mentioned in para No.2 of the petition, who are alleged to be illegally detained in the premises of respondents No.4 and 5. A Warrant Officer be appointed at the expense of petitioner to visit the premises of respondents No.4 and 5 i.e. Brick Kiln under the name and style Cheema (Cheema Brick Kiln) situated at Village Manakpur Sharif, Tehsil Kharar, Sub Tehsil and Majri, Police Station Mullanpur, District Mohali (Punjab) or any other place pointed by the petitioner and in case the aforesaid detenues are found to be illegally detained, their release be secured immediately.

A report be submitted in this regard on the next date of hearing. To be shown in urgent list."

In compliance of aforesaid order dated 1.4.2024, report of Warrant Officer has been received, wherein it has been reported that the aforesaid detenues have been got released from the brick kiln in question. 4.

In view of the aforestated position, no further directions are required to be issued in the instant matter. The instant petition, as such, is disposed off accordingly.
