(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for transfer of investigation in case FIR No.47 under Sections 302, 506, 148, 149 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act dated 07.04.2016 registered at Police Station Dugri, District Ludhiana to Special Investigation Team.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the purpose would be achieved if police authorities are directed to decide the representation dated 29.06.2017 (Annexure P-8) moved by mother of the petitioner in a time-bound manner.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, however, without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Director General of Police, Punjab, to entrust representation dated 29.06.2017 (Annexure P-8) to some officer sub-ordinate to him to look into the same. The representation (Annexure P-8) shall be decided within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order after hearing the mother of the petitioner and by passing a speaking order.
