By way of present application filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, petitioner is seeking quashing of complaint case bearing CIS No.793/2019, titled as, "Rahul Gupta v. Varinder Singh @ Varinder Thakur @ another", date of institution 05.11.2019 (Annexure P-1), under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, including the judgment of conviction dated 10.01.2025 (Annexure P-2), passed by Ld. JMIC, Hoshiarpur, on the basis of compromise dated 10.01.2025 (Annexure P-3).

On the very outset, counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw present petition.
