The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant extension to the employees after completion of service contrary to Rule 30 of the Punjab Waqf Regulations, 1996 as well as the law laid down by various Court, regarding which legal notice dated 16.03.2025 (P-3) was also served upon respondents-authorities, but the respondent-authorities are not taking required action and acting against the settled proposition of law. Further it is prayed that during the pendency of the present petition, respondents may be restrained from granting extension to any employee after his/her retirement, in the present case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh with better particulars.
