Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.04 dated 04.01.2021, registered at Police Station Majitha, District Amritsar Rural, under Sections 307 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Vide order dated 17.05.2021 passed by the Coordinate Bench, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join investigation. The ad interim pre-arrest bail granted to the petitioner has been extended from time to time. The petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and got recovered his weapon. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 17.05.2021 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 03.02.2022
