*** MANOJ BAJAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection of their life and liberty, as they apprehend threat at the instance of respondents No.4 to 6, as they have allegedly entered into a marriage on 27.03.2019, against the wishes of private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that representation (Annexure P-5) dated 27.03.2019 already stands submitted to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh. A perusal of the representation reveals that the alleged threat is regarding an attempt on the part of the private respondents to thwart the intended marriage between the petitioners. In the petition, it is pleaded that after the marriage between the petitioners, information was given to private respondents No.4 to 6, who had threatened to kill both of them.

It is conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the said averment is not contained in the representation submitted before the SSP.
