*** MANOJ BAJAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection of their life and liberty allegedly on account of threat faced by them at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 7. It is pleaded that the petitioners entered into a marriage on 28.03.2019 and a representation stands given to the Senior Superintendent of Police, U.T. Chandigarh.

The perusal of the representation (Annexure P-5) reveals that same is dated 29.03.2019. It is clear that the request so made by the petitioners before the the Senior Superintendent of Police is yet to reach his office.

In view of the above, the present petition is pre-mature and no ground is made out to invoke the inherent powers of jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

Dismissed.
