**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 79 dated 14.06.2017 under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC, registered at Police Station Bullowal, District Hoshiarpur.

This Court made an effort to resolve the matter by referring to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. However, this Court is informed that the mediation has failed.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that most of the dowry articles have been recovered and the certificates of the complainant pertaining to her educational qualification have been handed over to her counsel.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from ASI Avtar Singh, submits that most of the dowry articles have been recovered and have been handed over to the complainant while submitting that the petitioner herein has joined the investigation. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and in view of the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation, handed over most of the dowry articles and the certificates pertaining to the educational qualification of the complainant, the instant petition is allowed and interim order dated 08.08.2017 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. However, in case some of the certificates still are left with the petitioner, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the same will be handed over.
