This petition has been filed for quashing of complaint bearing No.RBT-9-204-1 dated 17.6.2011 under Sections 452/363/366A/323/506/34 IPC, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Abohar alongwith all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of a settlement arrived at between the parties.
It is stated that the alleged victim in this case is now major. However, she is not a signatory to the settlement neither has her statement in respect to the settlement been recorded before the learned trial court. In this view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks to withdraw this petition at this stage, with liberty to file afresh as and when the victim in this case comes forward.
Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid. ( LISA GILL ) November 9 , 2017.
