**** INDERJIT SINGH, J.(Oral) Petitioner Jagir Singh has preferred this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to ensure protection and liberty of the petitioner as well as his family members on account of grudge due to registration of FIR No. 41 dated 26.07.2016 under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 and Section 326 IPC (added lateron) against private respondent Nos. 4 to 8. Petitioner is apprehending threat from respondent Nos. 4 to 8.

Learned counsel for the petitioner only prays for the relief that the representation dated 03.08.2016 (Annexure P-2), moved to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala - respondent No.2, by the petitioner be considered and he does not press the other relief asked in this petition. In view of above, respondent No.2 Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala is directed to look into the said representation (Annexure P-2) and pass appropriate order within two months after receiving copy of this order, as per law.
