SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent Nos.2 & 3 not to harass the petitioners at the instance of respondent Nos.4 & 5 as the petitioners having married against the wishes of private respondents apprehend danger to their lives.

Learned State counsel refers to order dated 21.03.2025 to submit that the necessary speaking order has been passed after examination of representation dated 13.03.2025 (Annexure P.5), which is appended with the affidavit dated 26.03.2025 sworn by Rajesh Kumar, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Jind. In addition to that, upon a query being put by this Court as to why such inordinate delay has occurred beyond the time frame given, it is stated that regular departmental inquiry has been initiated against Sub Inspector Krishan Kumar vide order dated 11.02.2025, who was found responsible in preliminary inquiry qua not forwarding the said representation/complaint of the petitioners in time to the concerned Authorities.

In the light of above, this Court finds no reason to continue with the the present petition, which does not warrant any indulgence of this Court, hence the same is disposed of accordingly.
