This petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case bearing FIR No.43 dated 31.03.2022, under Sections 177, 420 IPC, registered at Police Station City Khanna, District Khanna.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is a lady. She, being widow, was getting pension of her late husband. The allegations against the petitioner are that even after getting re-married, she continued to receive pension of her late husband. Pursuant to the order dated 27.04.2022 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner has joined investigation. As per the family pension scheme, a widow is not entitled to the family pension, in case she re-marries. The entire case is based upon documentary evidence.
