(Oral) Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Babita, submits that total 17 prosecution witnesses have been examined and 01 prosecution witness stands given up.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage. However, learned counsel for the petitioner has made a prayer that the trial Court may be directed to decide the trial expeditiously preferably within two months. The present petition is directed to be dismissed as withdrawn at this stage. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of two months on receipt/production of certified copy of this order.
