CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. Munish Puri, Advocate for the petitioner. *** This is a petition under Section Section 482 Cr.P.C. filed by petitioner Surinder Kumar challenging the order vide which he had been declared as a proclaimed offender.
I have gone through the impugned order and I do not find any illegality or infirmity therein apparent on the face of it which might have called for interference by this Court. Even otherwise, as per ratio of authority Mehnga Singh vs. State of Punjab 2002(2) RCR (Criminal) 501, this petition is not maintainable, therefore, the same stands dismissed. In these circumstances, the petitioner is directed to surrender in the trial Court within 7 days from today and in that event, on his moving an application for regular bail, the same be disposed of expeditiously.
