The petitioner has been in custody since 28.9.2013. Earlier petition for bail was dismissed on 16.7.2014 directing the trial court to conclude the trial within a period of six months. Liberty was granted to the petitioner to approach this court again in case the trial is not concluded within the said stipulated period. It has been informed that 5 more witnesses remain to be examined. The petitioner has been in custody for the last 1 year and 5 months.

Taking into consideration the above said circumstances, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/ surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court. The petitioner will not commit the similar offence, of which he is accused of, during pendency of the trial.
