Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 18.09.2023, Annexure P-23, whereby petitioner's request to revise pension after promotion as Principal has been rejected.

It is apparent on record that the case has been rejected by taking the date of petitioner's superannuation as 31.03.1997, whereas the order dated 15.01.2019, Annexure P-16, shows he has been given promotion as Principal w.e.f. 18/22.12.1997. Therefore, it appears there is some disparity in the dates which resulted in rejection of his claim regarding promotion vide the impugned order.

Learned State counsel is not in a position to dispute the facts afore-stated. He contends that the order, dated 18.09.2023, will be reviewed and a fresh order will be passed by the Special Secretary after taking into account correct facts, within a period of three months.
