By virtue of this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., petitioner - Ranjodh Singh, has sought pre-arrest bail, apprehending his arrest in case FIR No.233 dated July 23, 2016, under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station, Tripuri, District Patiala. 2.

As per the allegations, petitioner is the police official who put his attestation on fake power of attorney dated January 25, 2016 got executed by Aman Singh son of Jaswinder Singh, in his favour qua property of Mohinder Singh by way of impersonation as somebody else acted on behalf of Mohinder Singh, on the basis of which, Aman Singh executed sale deed dated February 11, 2016 in favour of Ravina qua the land of Mohinder Singh measuring 17 Bighas, 5 Biswas and 9 Biswian. Since, there are specific and serious allegations against the petitioner, this court is of the considered view that it is not a fit case to exercise power envisaged under Section 438 Cr.P.C. 4.
