Main Case Present petition has been moved under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of necessary directions to official respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner for harvesting his crops as the private respondents are not allowing the petitioner to enter into the fields. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 6 at this stage. Ms. Samina Dhir, DAG, Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 6.

The counsel for the petitioner submitted that he will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to take action on the aforesaid representation.

State counsel submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide representation dated 19.4.2022 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law in the light of the report of Tehsildar, Malout dated 20.4.2022 (Annexure P-2) and the order dated 18.11.2021 passed by the Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division), Malout in Civil Suit titled Preet Kamal Singh vs. Nachhatar Singh and Others, within next 15 days of the receipt of copy of this order.
