(Oral) Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ, order or direction to the respondents No.2 and 3 for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that representation dated 24.4.2022 (Annexure P-3) in this regard has also been moved before the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken as of now. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 at this stage. Ms. Samina Dhir, DAG, Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3.

( 2 ) CRWP-3939-2022 The counsel for the petitioner submitted that he will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to take action on the aforesaid representation.

State counsel submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-3) in accordance with law within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
