The instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 7.

It is contended that the petitioners have submitted a representation dated 12.06.2020 (Annexure P-3) to respondents No.2 for taking legal action against respondents No.4 to 7 as they apprehend threat to life and liberty at the hands of respondent No.4 to 7 but no action has been taken so far.

Notice of motion to the official respondents. 4.

At this stage, on the asking of the Court, Ms. Dimple Jain, AAG, Haryana, who is present through the medium of Video Conferencing, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents and submits that the official respondents will look into the matter and will take a decision on the representation of the petitioners. In view of the above, I dispose of the instant petition by directing the official respondents to take a decision on the representation dated 12.06.2020 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one week from today in accordance with law by passing a speaking order and if there is any merit found in the contention raised by the petitioners, adequate protection be provided to them.
