Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner under Sections 406, 498-A IPC at Police Station, Sector 19, Chandigarh vide F.I.R No. 8 dated 7.1.2015.
Learned State counsel submits that pursuant to order dated 9.3.2015, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.
In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim order dated 28.1.2015 is hereby made absolute, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. Petition stands allowed in aforesaid terms.
