Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.89 dated 15.06.2018 under Sections 420, 409 IPC and Sections 7 and13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, registered at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar Rural. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

As per the allegations in the FIR, present petitioner Sarabjit Singh has embezzled a huge amount of `46 lakhs of the bank and specific instances in this regard have been mentioned in the FIR. The FIR has been registered after conducting enquiry.

Keeping in view serious allegations against the present petitioner, without discussing the facts in minute detail and without Vineet Gulati 2018.07.20 17:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, I find that petitioner is

CRM No.M-30096 of 2018 -2required for custodial interrogation and no ground is made out for grant of anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
