RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

Instant petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. praying for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.67, dated 25.03.2021, under Sections 366, 120-B IPC (Sections 376 and 363 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station City Phagwara, District Kapurthala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during investigation the petitioner was found innocent and kept in column No.2 and as such no cause of action survives.

In view of this, present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
