(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to carry out fair and impartial investigation in case FIR No.46 dated 18.05.2017, registered under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Arniwala, District Fazilka.

Pursuant to the notice of motion issued, appearance has been caused by Ms. Rajni Gupta, learned Sr. DAG, Punjab, on behalf of the respondent-State, who on instructions from ASI Judge Singh, submits that the matter has since been investigated and the cancellation report has been prepared on 06.02.2018 and the same is pending approval. CRM-M-29231-2017 -2the Court that the cancellation report would be presented to the Illaqa Magistrate within a period of six weeks.

In view of the fact that investigation has been carried out and the cancellation report is prepared, no further orders are called for in this petition.
