CRWP-4278-2021 (O&M) -2Today, an affidavit dated 19.05.2021 of Manjit Singh, SHO, Police Station Rawalpindi, District Kapurthala has been filed in compliance of order dated 04.05.2021 wherein it has been stated that the deponent had got an inquiry conducted in the matter by Sub Inspector Gurjit Kaur, Incharge Police Post Pashta, Police Station Rawalpindi. During the inquiry, Sub Inspector Gurjit Kaur, Incharge Police Post Pashta, Police Station Rawalpindi visited the alleged detenue Pardeep Kaur at village Nasirabad, Police Station Rawalpindi, District Kapurthala and recorded her statement. The alleged detenue Pardeep Kaur has stated in the said statement Annexure R-1 that she has been residing with her parents happily and with her consent. She has further stated that she has not been detained by anybody. In view of the contents of the affidavit dated 19.05.2021 of Manjit Singh, SHO, Police Station Rawalpindi, District Kapurthala, the present petition is rendered infructuous.
