Today the petitioner and respondent No.5 have appeared in person. The detenue has also been produced by the respondent No.5-'Monu'. It has been stated by the above named respondent No.5 that he has no objection if the custody of detenue is handed over to the petitioner, who is her mother.

In response to the above-mentioned statement of respondent No.5, the petitioner has accepted the custody of child (detenue in the present petition).

The statements of the respondent No.5 as well as the petitioner to the above-mentioned effect have been recorded on separate sheet. 4.

Criminal Writ Petition No.2840 of 2026 petition survives and therefore, the petitioner wants to withdraw the instant writ petition.
