**** MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No. 61, dated 27.10.2018, under Sections 406, 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Women Cell, District Jalandhar.

As per the report, received from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, the parties have amicably settled their dispute. The factum of matter having been settled between the parties is not disputed by the learned counsel for the complainant as well.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Puran, states that pursuant to order dated 22nd April, 2019, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no longer required for further interrogation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 22nd April, 2019, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
