JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The petitioner, by filing the present petition under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., seeks grant of anticipatory bail, in case FIR No.256 dated 21.12.2020, for offences punishable under Section 307, 323, 324, 506, 427, 379B, 148 and 149 IPC registered at Police Station City Fazilka. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 28.04.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State Counsel on instructions from the Investigating Officer concerned, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of orders dated 28.04.2022 and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In this view of the matter, interim order dated 28.04.2022 is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The petition stands disposed of.
