(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.244 dated 30.08.2010, registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Amritsar City, under Section 399 and 402 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959. Vide order dated 23.05.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner had been directed to appear before the Court below and on his doing so, the learned trial Court had been directed to release him on bail. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has appeared before the Court below and he has been granted bail. She has drawn the attention of this Court to the order dated 27.10.2022 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Amrtitsar, which indicates that accused Manbir Singh @ Sabbi, is on bail and appearing through his counsel. CRM-M-17489-2022 (O&M) -2Learned State counsel, on instructions from the concerned Investigating Officer, does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 23.05.2022 passed by this Court, is made absolute.
