The petitioner is father of Narinder Kumar Goyal who is one of the accused in FIR No.92 dated 03.06.2014 registered at Police Station Pasiana, District Patiala, under Sections 21, 22, 25, 25-A, 27, 29, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act and 26, 54, 59 of the Arms Act. He has preferred this petition seeking a direction for re-investigation of the above-stated FIR by the Central Bureau of Investigation or by a Special Investigating Team constituted under the orders of this Court passed in CWP No.88 of 2014 (Jagjit Singh Chahal versus State of Punjab and others) and other connected cases, decided on 07.10.2015.

Having realised that after investigation of the subject FIR charge-sheet was filed whereupon charges were framed and trial is going on, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his relief to the extent that a Mohinder Kumar Kamboj 2016.09.06 17:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh direction may be issued to the Trial Court to decide the matter in a time
