On instructions from HC Inderpal Singh, learned State counsel assisted by learned counsel for respondent No. 2, submits that the instant petition has rendered infructuous, in view of the fact that petitionerDavinder Kaur, has already been convicted under Section 304 IPC, vide judgment of conviction dated 07.06.2018, rendered by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Gurdaspur and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 5 years and to pay a fine of ` 50,000/-. In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having rendered infructuous and for want of prosecution as well.
