Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Gurtej Singh, Police Station Sadar, Mansa, submits that appropriate action has been initiated against the Deputy Superintendent, District Jail, Mansa, and the matter should be taken to its logical end without any delay. He further submits that no further orders are called for in the present case and the same may be disposed of accordingly. CRM-M-29411 of 2014 Having heard the learned counsel for the State and after going through record of the case, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned authorities of the respondent State to ensure that appropriate action is taken against the Deputy Superintendent, District Jail, Mansa, in case he is found guilty of dereliction of duty.

With the abovesaid observations made and directions issued, present petition stands disposed of.
