The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No.2-DGP to decide his appeal dated 16.11.2023 (Annexure P-1).

Mr. J.S.Dhaliwal, Advocate submits that grievance of the petitioner, at this stage, would be redressed if respondent is directed to decide his appeal in a time bound manner.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab, who on advance notice is present in Court, submits that DGP would decide appeal of the petitioner within three months from today.
